Set around a picturesque lake and beautiful parkland, Arlington Business Park is a modern working environment with the benefits of outdoor living. Designed in collaboration with TP Bennett, this unique pavilion is at the heart of this modern business development. Our expertise in building and engineering floating spaces enabled this ambitious project to be realised.

Eco Floating Office at Ocean Village Marina

Waterside access into Southampton is even more stunning with the completion of MDL Marinas’ Ocean Village redesign. Innovations include a £50m luxury spa hotel complex and a floating dock office to welcome guests from around the world.

MDL Marinas is well known for the 5* customer service it provides 24/7, and Ocean Village Marina is no exception. The marina recently took delivery of a state-of-the-art floating dock office, which offers a full concierge service.

Flood-proof Office on the Thames

A deeply thoughtful design that takes us back to 1845, and brings us all the way to the present, projecting the business forward.

This modern office building is an elegant solution to the risk of flooding, enabling our client to continue their work without interruption. With a close connection to the water, and a design that reveals the story of the space, this two-storey office provides a deeply enriching experience for the family and their customers.

Amphibious Cafe in a Flood Zone

Cheerfully serving much-needed refreshments to coastal visitors for over 40 years, the crumbling building is no longer fit for purpose and in desperate need of renewal.

This ‘place to be’ is situated inside the danger zone of a 50-year flood cycle, inside the protective rise of the sea wall and perched on a little terrace 3.2m above sea level. Suffering at least three major flood events in its known life.

A design for a new two-storey building has been created by a local designer, and planning permission granted. In order to make this project happen, our experience and expertise is essential to overcome the technical challenges of this amphibious building.

A Unique Lakeside Retreat

This beautiful two-bedroom floating retreat takes full advantage of its stunning location, where guests become part of the landscape.

This guest retreat provides a very intimate connection with its beautiful surroundings. Our clients are thrilled with this uniquely relaxing space, and, despite intending it for their guests, they now enjoy it themselves as a retreat from their own retreat!

Creative Floating Hub

The owners of St Katharine Docks commissioned this striking space to impress investors and market Commodity Quay

We translated the client’s wishes into a bespoke floating hub for use as a boardroom, directors office and a marketing suite.

Beautiful Floating Home & Hotel Suite

Used as pied-a-terre for directors and visiting guests, we crafted a beautiful floating home that referenced the working heritage of St Katharine Docks. Creating a more thoughtful and memorable alternative to a stay in a hotel room.

The reviews of the home by their guests led Clarksons, the new owner, to commission a second floating home.

Creative Retreat on the Thames

Quiet, uncluttered and considered interiors creating a calming sanctuary with a contemporary mood. The focus is on harnessing natural light, and careful positioning of windows that frame and dramatise the views.
